Wolf Point Earns Honors At Eagle Invitational
The Wolf Point Wolves closed out their regular track season by competing at the Eagle Invitational in Sidney on Saturday, May 7.
Wolf Point’s boys scored 32 points for fifth place and Wolf Point’s girls finished with 23 points for ninth place.
The Wolves took first and second in the 3200 as sophomore Peyton Summers ran the distance in 10:17.91 and Ethan Blount finished in 10:27.94.
Kholby SpottedWolf placed second in the 1600 at 5:05.56. Kraven Silk earned third in the 400 at 56.10 seconds.
Katelyn MacDonald had a mark of 105-5 for second place in the javelin for the girls’ division. Josie Kolstad earned fourth in the javelin at 95-0.
Kolstad finished fourth in the 200 with a time of 31.07 seconds.
Kylie Rodenberg took fifth in the 100-meter hurdles at 18.87 seconds, sixth in the triple jump at 28-5 and ninth in the long jump at 14-1.
Joli Beston finished fifth in the 1600 at 7:08.76 and was 10th in the 400 at 1:26.94.
Haidyn Raining Bird placed sixth in the discus with a best of 72-1.
MacDonald took sixth in the shot put at 28-11. Raining Bird was 10th at 26-9.
Azalei Ackerman took ninth in the triple jump at 26-6.
The Wolves will compete at the District 2B track meet in Glasgow on Saturday, May 14.
