Track Athletes Place In Lambert
Young track athletes from Culbertson, Bainville and Froid/Lake were among the participants during the Richey/Lambert Invitational on Saturday, May 7.
Culbertson scored 46 points in the girls’ elementary division, seven points in the girls’ middle school division, 21.5 points in the boys’ middle school division and 26 points in the boys’ elementary division.
For Culbertson’s boys, Conway First That Walks took first in the 400, second in the 200, fourth in the 100 and fourth in the 50 for elementary.
Other elementary boys in the top 10 included Adam Ellerkamp in eighth for the 50 and 400, and Cord Snyder in 10th for the 50 and 200.
Josh Firemoon was third in the 400, fifth in the long jump and fifth in the 200 for middle school.
Other middle school boys in the top 10 for Culbertson included Charles Fireommon in eighth for the 400, Jonas York in third for the 800, Tyler Friede in fifth for the 800, Aden Drake in seventh for the 200-meter hurdles, Logan Berwick in fifth for the discus, Kaden Featherston in eighth for the discus and ninth for the shot put and Plenny Williams in 10th for the shot put. The 400-meter relay team featuring J. Firemoon, Glenn Sager, C. Firemoon and Williams finished fifth.
For Culbertson’s elementary girls, Harper Anderson earned first in the 50, second in the 400, third in the 100 and fifth in the long jump.
Also in the top 10 for Culbertson’s elementary girls were Aubry Salvevold in second for the 800 and third in the 400, Kalie Featherston in eighth for the long jump and fifth for the shot put, Charity Wilbanks in fourth for the discus, and Trinity Pirkle in eighth for the shot put and eighth for the 200.
Culbertson’s middle school girls in the top 10 included Rebekah Ellerkamp in third for the 1600, Catherine Donaldson in eighth for the 1600, Peyton Labatte in sixth for the 100-meter hurdles and Emma Berwick in ninth for the discus. The 400-meter relay
