Lustre Takes Sixth At Track Meet
The Lustre Christian Lions took sixth place in the boys’ division with 43 points during the Whitewater/Saco Invitational held in Glasgow on Saturday, April 30.
Braden Ewing earned first in the triple jump with a mark of 39-11. He placed second in the long jump at 18-05. He was fifth in the 200 at 24.91 seconds and eighth in the 100 at 12.56 seconds.
Elijah Lenihan took second in the high jump at 5-6, third in the long jump at 18-3 and seventh in the triple jump at 35-11.
Cayden Klatt earned second in the 3200 at 12:20.98 and was seventh in the 1600 at 5:46.98.
The 400-meter relay team of Sean Uy, Lenihan, Ewing and Jasiah Hambira placed sixth at 50.44 seconds.
The girls’ 400-meter relay team of Rebekah Jossart, Meredith Valentine, Sarah Dahl and Alexa Reddig finished 10th at 67.10 seconds. Jossart finished ninth in the 1600 at 6:42.83.

Braden Ewing, a junior, had a best of 40-10 to earn second place in the triple jump.
Elijah Lenihan, a junior, cleared 5-8 for third place in the high jump.
The Lions will compete in Wolf Point on Friday, May 6.
