Wolf Point Junior High Athletes Place At Home Meet Wolf Point Junior High Athletes Place At Home Meet

Wolf Point hosted an 18-team junior high school track meet on Friday, April 22.

The Wolves scored 24 points for seventh place in the seventh-grade girls’ division, 12 points for 11th points in the eighth-grade girls’ division, 19 points for fifth place in the boys’ seventh-grade division and 13 points for ninth place in the eighth-grade boys’ division.

For Wolf Point’s eighthgrade boys, Josh Jackson took third in the shot put.

Brady Fourbear was fifth in the 400. Placing sixth were Sam Boysun in the long jump and 100, and Sean Hamilton in the discus.

The 400-meter relay team of Boysun, Fourbear, Eli Graham and Michael Youpee finished fifth. Leading the way in the seventh- grade boys’ division was Jaycee Hilkemann with a first in the 800, second in the 1600 and sixth in the 400.

Jesse Reed took seventh in the 200, Conway Turcotte was 10th in the shot put.

Addy Smith earned first place in the 400 for seventh- grade girls. She finished fourth in the 800 and fifth in the 100.

Makenzie Jackson earned second in the shot put.

For Wolf Point’s eighthgrade girls, Marley MacDonald placed second in the discus and fifth in the shot put. Navella Weeks took sixth in the 100. Kashlyn Speak Thunder finished seventh in the 400.

The 400-meter relay team consisting of Weeks, Speak Thunder, Karmyn Plain Feather and Teagan Williams placed sixth.
