Junior high track athletes from Culbertson and Froid/ Lake placed during the meet in Wolf Point on Friday, April 22.

Culbertson took ninth in the seventh-grade girls’ division with 16 points, 11th in the eighth-grade girls’ division with 12 points, 12th in the boys’ seventh-grade division with eight points and sixth in the boys’ eighth-grade division with 22 points.

Leading Culbertson’s eighth-grade boys was Kaden Featherston by taking first in the discus at 100-07.

Josh Firemoon placed third in the long jump. Brooks Solem finished fourth in the 200-meter hurdles. Tyler Friede placed sixth in the 800 and J. Firemoon was sixth in the 200.

For Culbertson’s seventh- grade boys, Plenny Williams placed third in the discus and sixth in the shot put.

Logan Berwick took ninth in the shot put and Jonas York finished sixth in the 800 and ninth in the 1600.

Charles Firemoon placed seventh in the 400 and ninth in the 100. Conway First That Walks was eighth in the 400.

Leading Culbertson’s eighth-grade girls was Jade Lone Bear with a third-place finish in the 800 and fifth in the 1600. Catherine Donaldson took fifth in the 800 and sixth in the 1600.

Ayden Ator placed sixth in the discus. The 400-meter relay team of Kaylee Kohl, Mariana Burciaga, Lone Bear and Ivy Colvin finished 10th.

Placing fourth for Culbertson’s seventh-grade girls were Harper Anderson in the long jump, Rebekah Ellerkamp in the 1600 and Peyton Labatte in the shot put.

Ellerkamp was fifth and Aubry Salvevold took sixth in the 800. Anderson finished sixth and Salvevold was 10th in the 400.

Emma Berwick took seventh in the discus. Labatte took 10th in the 100-meter hurdles.

Froid/Lake’s girls scored 32.75 points for sixth place in the seventh-grade division. Froid/Lake’s boys scored four points for 14th points in the seventh-grade division.

Leah Murray earned first in the discus at 61-07. Haven Martensen placed second and Camri Salvevold took fifth in the discus.

Joelle Davidson finished third in the 1600. Keira Stentoft was fifth in the 200. Taking seventh were Leah Murray in the 200 and 400, and Vala Gregor in the 1600.

Isabelle Nordwick placed fifth in the high jump. Briar Granger took ninth in the high jump. Salvevold placed ninth in the shot put.

Stentoft took eighth in the 100. Lille Barrick took 10th in the 100.

The 400-relay team consisting of Keira Stentoft, Isabelle Nordwick, Jordyn Breuer and Leah Murray placed fourth.

For Froid/Lake’s boys, Brennen Roseleip took fourth in the 100-meter hurdles.

Placing eighth were Jacob Nordlund in the high jump, Eduardo Orozco in the long jump and Cody Olson in the 200. Olson placed 10th in the shot put.
