COVID Cases Continue To Decrease

 

Roosevelt County had six active COVID cases as of Monday, March 21. There have been 71 COVID-related deaths in the county. There are zero current hospitalizations.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on March 24, in Culbertson and April 7 in Wolf Point.

There will be a vaccination clinic for children, ages 5-11, from 1-4 p.m. on April 8, in Wolf Point.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had zero active cases as of Friday, March 18. The county has 377 recovered cases and 386 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

Valley County reports four active cases as of Friday, March 18. The county has 1,656 recovered cases and 1,696 cumulative cases. There have been 36 COVID-related deaths.

In McCone County, there are no active cases as of Friday, March 18. There have been nine COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 376 recovered cases and 385 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had five active cases as of Friday, March 18. There have been 1,026 recovered cases and 28 COVID-related deaths.

For Richland County, there were seven active cases and 2,587 recovered cases as of Thursday, March 17. Total COVID-related deaths are 32. There have been 2,626 total cases.

Sheridan County had zero active cases as of Friday, March 18. There have been 659 recovered cases and 11 COVID-related deaths.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 272,183 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,702,496 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 494 active cases. There are 44 active hospitalizations. By Monday, March 21, a total of 3,236 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 268,453 people have recovered. A total of 11,797 have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 11 active cases as of Monday, March 21.

McKenzie County, N.D., had five active cases as of Monday, March 21.

Divide County, N.D., had zero cases as of Monday, March 21, bringing the cumulative total to 455. There have been four COVID-related deaths.

Vaccine Doses

As of Monday, March 21, 1,416,471 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 558,906 or 55 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 12,048 total doses have been administered as of Monday, March 21. There are 5,015 fully immunized for 51 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.

In Valley County, 7,777 total doses have been administered. There are 3,185 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,735 total doses have been administered. There are 705 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,110 total doses have been administered. There are 429 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 9,836 total doses have been administered. There are 4,217 fully immunized for 41 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,268 total doses have been administered. There are 1,771 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 4,610 total doses have been administered. There are 1,837 fully immunized for 60 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
