Elks Sees Growth In Membership

The Wolf Point Elks Lodge #1764 welcomed one of its largest initiation groups in recent memory during a ceremony on Wednesday, March 9.
The induction included 11 new members.
“You’re helping this building stay open for the community,” Exalted Ruler Jeff Presser said of the importance of adding members at the lodge.
The Wolf Point Elks Event Center holds a wide variety of activities throughout the year including weddings and receptions.
While other lodges are experiencing declines in memberships, Presser is pleased that Wolf Point is growing.
“With you, we’re increasing,” Presser said.
New members include Erin Presser, Jeff Neubauer, Julie Neubauer, Thomas Olsen, Nicole Miller, Colton Miller, Eric Peterson, Sarah Ruff, Carly Tattoo, Penny Presser and Adam Weinberger.
The Order spends more than $80,000,000 every year for benevolent, educational and patriotic community- minded programs in such fields as benefiting special needs children, sponsoring Elks National Foundation scholarships, scouting, athletic teams, veterans’ works, a national “Hoop Shoot” freethrow contest involving more than 3 million children, physical and occupational therapy programs and patriotic programs.
