The Roosevelt County commissioners approved a resolution for stage 1 fire restrictions during their meeting on Tuesday, July 27. The commissioners approved going to stage 1 on July 20, but a resolution also needed to be provided. The main difference between a fire ban and stage 1 restrictions is that smoking is restricted except within an enclosed vehicle or building, a developed recreation

Women’s Club To Host Pool Bash Fundraiser

The Culbertson Women’s Club will host a pool fundraiser on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 5-8 p.m. at the Culbertson Pool. There will be a freewill offering hot dog meal along with an opportunity to toss water balloons at a few local celebrities for a nominal fee. Ice cream will be provided by the Wild West Diner to top it all off. Open swim will be available free of charge to those who wish to cool
