A familiar face is the new Extension agent for Roosevelt County. Wendy Becker started her duties at the Extension office in Culbertson on Sept. 1. BPA Holds Car Smash Fundraiser

According to Culbertson School District, the Business Professionals of America will be hosting a “car smash” event at the Cowboys football field parking lot following the homecoming parade Sept 17. The parade starts at 2 p.m. The cost will be $5 to take a swing and all participates will be required to fill out a liability waiver.

TEB Talks To Transit Director

The Tribal Executive Board heard from Fort Peck Transit Director Henri Headdress during an Aug. 30 meeting. The Board expressed concerned over reports that children were not being picked up and taken to school. Headdress informed the Board that there weren’t any workers with the necessary background checks that could transport these children and that it would take six months to get a qualified
