Josephine Neutgens
Josepheine Ione Neutgens, 82, of Wolf Point died Monday, Dec. 7, 2021, at Faith Home.
She was born to Joseph Lambert and Lillian Delong Lambert Weeks on March 14, 1939, shortly after she was blessed with being the big sister to 11 brothers and sisters. Anyone who knew her knew she was the mother hen of the group.
She met Arlo Neutgens and they shared 36 years together. She loved being a mother and homemaker, whether it was making the best sweaters or hosting family get-togethers. She was an avid crafter and loved gardening.
She loved teaching her children how to bake and create different works of art. She could create the most spectacular clothes out of the worst scraps of fabric. She loved creating dolls, growing the most beautiful flowers, and most of all caring for her family.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Grubbs, Paul Neutgens, Greg Neutgens, Arla Neutgens and Renee Neutgens; step-children, Judy Kuntz and John Neutgens; siblings, Gary Farnsworth, Albert Lambert, Jackie Weeks, John Weeks, David Weeks, Rita Weeks, Thomas Weeks and Wayne Weeks; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo Neutgens; children, Anna Nava and Joeseph Neutgens; and siblings, Dorothy Balbinot, William Weeks and Robert Weeks.
A rosary service was held Friday, Dec. 17. Cremation followed. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.
