Frazer Drops Games Against Froid/Lake

Froid/Lake knocked off Frazer, 89-41, during non-conference boys’ basketball action in Frazer on Friday, Dec. 17.

The Red Hawks gained a 29-7 lead in the first quarter. Mason Dethman scored 13 points in the opening period.

Froid/Lake increased the margin to 49-16 in the second period and led 76-33 after three quarters of play.

Javonne Nesbit finished with 33 points to lead the Red Hawks. Dethman accounted for 21 points.

Also scoring were Patton Bighorn with six points, Tyler Wivholm with six, Connor Huft with five, Nate Stentoft with six, Daniel Forizs with six, Landen Kelm with three and Max Engelke with two.

Frazer’s Keein Ackerman scored 14 points and Joseph Beston added 11 points.

Also scoring for the Bearcubs were Ty Fourstar with seven, Jonathan Jackson with five, Blue Fettig with three and Travis Long with two.

Froid’s girls’ basketball squad defeated Frazer by a 5133 margin on Friday, Dec. 17.

The Red Hawks led by a 16-0 margin after the first quarter and 24-11 at the half.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Carolyne Christoffersen with 10, Mara Salvevold with 10 and Baylee Davidson with nine.

Also scoring were Dasani Nesbit with five, Jaeleigh Davidson with five, Alexa Nelson with five, Meg Ator with two, Addison Elvsaas with two, Missouri Kabal with two and Brooklyn Nordwick with one.

B. Davidson finished with four rebounds and two steals. Salvevold and Christoffersen also grabbed three rebounds.

Baily Beston led Frazer with nine points. Isabelle Even and Angel Nelligan added six points each. Liana Jackson and Shakira Beston each scored five points. Audrey Smoker had two points.
