County Reports 19 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reports 19 active cases. There are six current hospitalizations. There have been 66 confirmed COVID related deaths in the county.

Vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Dec. 16 in Wolf Point, Dec. 22 in Culbertson and Dec. 30 in Wolf Point.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had two active cases as of Monday, Dec. 13. The county has 298 recovered cases and 309 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

Valley County reports 23 active cases. The county has 1,333 recovered cases and 1,386 cumulative cases. There have been 30 COVID related deaths.

In McCone County, there are five active cases as of Monday, Dec. 13. There have been eight COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 299 recovered cases.

Phillips County had seven active cases as of Monday, Dec. 13. There have been 842 recovered cases and 27 COVID-related deaths.

For Richland County, there were 20 active cases and 1,942 recovered cases as of Monday, Dec. 13. Total COVID-related deaths are 24. There have been 1,986 total cases.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 193,905 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,193,202 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 2,601 active cases. There are 164 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Dec. 13, a total of 2,830 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 188,474 people have recovered.

Though there is no state mask mandate, local jurisdictions may still choose to implement their own mask requirements. Gov. Gianforte emphasized how providing incentives and encouraging personal responsibility are more effective than imposing unenforceable government mandates.

Vaccine Doses

In Roosevelt County, 9,930 total doses have been administered. There have been 4,334 or 44 percent fully immunizations.

As of Monday, Dec. 13, 1,276,145 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 524,443 or 51 percent fully immunized Montanans.
