Lustre Earns Win Over Plentywood

Lustre’s boys’ basketball team edged Plentywood, 4948, in non-conference action held in Glasgow on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The Lions fell behind 12-4 in the first quarter and trailed 20-19 at intermission.

Lustre accounted for 17 points in the third quarter to earn a 36-33 advantage.

Top scorers for the Lions were Elijah Lenihan with 16, Cayden Klatt with 12 and Kolden Hoverland with 11 points.

Jasiah Hambira added seven points and Braden Ewing scored three points.

Leading Plentywood were Reese Wirtz with 16, Caydon Trupe with 11 and Conner Howard with 10 points.

Plentywood’s girls defeated Lustre by a 71-36 margin.

The Wildcats gained a 30- 12 lead in the first quarter and led 45-16 at the half.

Aubri Holzrichter scored 22 points to lead the Lions. Alexa Reddig had eight and Grace Brown added six points.

Liv Wangerin accounted for 26 of Plentywood’s points. Annie Kaul scored 11 points.

The Lions will compete at the Class C Invitational in Wolf Point this weekend.
