Former Wolf Point Man Found In Burned RV In Glendive

The deceased individual found following a motor home fire in Glendive Nov. 21 has been identified as former Wolf Point resident, Loren “Bruce” Houg.

A body was found in the rubble of a motor home fire Nov. 21 afternoon at the Bridge View mobile home park.

Dawson County Coroner-Tyler Silha confirmed on Monday that the deceased was Houg, 58, of Glendive.

Silha said as the result of the autopsy it was determined there was no criminal act involved in Houg’s death. However, he is awaiting additional results to determine if Houg died in the fire or if he was deceased prior to the event.

“We are still waiting for toxicology and CO2 levels to determine if he was dead before fire,” Silha said.
