Bearcubs Drop Games Against Turner

Frazer’s boys’ basketball team lost a close game against Turner in Glasgow on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Turner won by a 51-46 final. The Bearcubs trailed 2018 at the half and 33-24 after three quarters of play.

Keein Ackerman led the Bearcubs with 22 points. John Hotomanie also reached double figures with 13 points.

Also scoring were Ty Fourstar with five, Blue Fettig with three and Jonathan Jackson with three points.

Top scorers for Turner were Carson Maloney with 15, Ryan Doyle with 14 and Trever Kimmel with 12.

In the girls’ contest, Frazer fell by a 56-40 final.

Turner led 19-6 after the first quarter and 28-10 at intermission.

Bailey Beston scored 27 points to lead the Bearcubs.

Rounding out the scoring were Liana Jackson with nine and Isabelle Even with four.

Cassidy Grabofsky scored 16 points for Turner.

Frazer will play at the Class C Invitational in Wolf Point on Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11.
