Students Return To Southside School Classrooms

Southside Elementary School students were back in their classrooms on Monday, Nov. 29. Because of COVID concerns, in-person instruction at the school hasn’t taken place since Nov. 3.
“We are happy and healthy,” Wolf Point Superintendent of Schools Loverty Erickson said on Monday morning. “Our staff is healed and we’re ready to go again.”
During a school board meeting in November, Erickson told trustees that a survey of 131 parents showed that 81 percent don’t want to move to virtual learning. In the survey, conducted from Oct. 11-30, 60 percent said they want the wearing of masks to remain optional.
