Brandy Red Boy-Birdsbill

Brandy Jewel Red Boy-Birdsbill, 42, of Wolf Point died Nov. 7, 2021, in Missoula.

She was born Nov. 20, 1978, in Poplar to Darleen and Archie RedBoy Jr. She joined brothers, Archie and Sean. She was born with a heart defect and underwent three surgeries as a child. She was a fighter from early on. She was a very happy child. She was a daddy’s girl through and through. He would do anything for his baby girl.

She attended Poplar Schools. She was the cheerleading mascot in her younger years. She was involved in band, flag corps and cheerleading. She graduated in 1997.

Afterwards, she lived in Billings, Ronan and Poplar before making her home in Wolf Point. She attended Salish Kootenai College for business management. She worked at Jungle Gym Daycare, Bryan’s and then Wolf Point Federal Credit Union.

In 2003, she met Nolan Birdsbill. They enjoyed driving around, listening to music and being in each other’s company. They married July 7, 2006. They had two angel babies, Hector and Skyrain; and two sons, Guy-C and Wilfredo. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns and watching football, especially the Cowboys.

In the last two years, she and Nolan found Jesus Christ and started a healthier and sober journey. She was baptized into the LDS Church on July 4, 2021.

She enjoyed cooking and was a great cook. She was known as the frybread queen and made the best frybread.

She cherished her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was a very loving, compassionate and selfless person. She was always willing to help or lend an ear. She had a beautiful smile that lit up the room.

She was preceded in death by her children, Skyrain and Hector.

She is survived by her husband, Nolan Birdsbill; sons, Guy C and Wilfredo; mother, Darleen Stump-Brown, and stepfather Thomas “Pudd” Brown; brothers, Archie and Sean RedBoy; sisters, Kristie Santos, Cayla Brown, Eleanor Stump and Carly Clincher; and one granddaughter.

A prayer service was held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Red Boy Family Cemetery in Riverside. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel assisted with the arrangements.
