Wolf Point will host the five-team District 2B volleyball tournament starting on Friday, Oct. 29.

The Lady Wolves, the fourth seed, will open the tournament against Poplar, the fifth seed, at 10 a.m. on Friday. The winner will take on top-seeded Glasgow at 1 p.m.

Malta, the second seed, will face Harlem at 11:30 a.m.

The championship match is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Wolf Point lost its regular- season finale against Glasgow by a 22-25, 18-25, 2025, final on Saturday, Oct. 23.

The Lady Wolves were impressive early on as the hard hitting of Sierra Hamilton and Jaylee Azure led the way to a 9-1 advantage in the first set.

After Glasgow cut the margin to 11-8, Wolf Point responded with a kill and ace by Hamilton. A tip by Katelyn MacDonald and a spike by Adeia Erickson put the lead at 18-14.

The Scotties then struck for eight straight points to grab a 22-18 advantage. A block by Hamilton and two kills by Azure cut the gap to 23-22, but Glasgow won the first set by a 25-22 margin.

The serving of Klaire Krumwiede led the Scotties to a 17-6 advantage in the second set.

Behind by a 19-9 margin, the Wolves fought back to 2012 on kills by J’Elle Garfield and Hamilton. The Scotties held on to take the second set by a 25-18 final.

Three aces by Hamilton pulled the Wolves to 20-13 in the third set. Down by a 2313 margin, Wolf Point scored on a kill by Azure, a block by Garfield and an ace by Sarah Williamson for a 23-16 game.

A pair of aces by Azalei Ackerman pulled the Wolves to 24-20, but Glasgow won by the 25-20 final.
