Combat Veteran

I, Jestin Dupree, am running for the Fort Peck Tribal Chairman position. I was born and raised in Poplar, MT, graduated from the Poplar High School, and joined the United States Army in 1998. I was a combat veteran who served our country for over 16 years and did 5 tours of duty overseas as an infantryman. After moving home, I served on the Police Force prior to getting elected to the Tribal Executive Board. I have served one term as Sgt. At Arms and two terms as Councilman. I have been committed to the people of the Ft. Peck Tribes for several years now.

I have listed the names of each candidate who is seeking election and as a ticket for the 2021 Tribal Election. On this ticket is five (5) Veteran’s, nine (9) former Council members with a total of 25 terms served. Numerous Degree’s and well over 150 years of work experience. Each candidate is versed in their areas of expertise which would be an asset to the Fort Peck Tribes. Our vision is to continue to move our Reservation forward and to be recognized as one of the best functioning tribal governments in the nation, once again, as it should be.
