Youth Soccer in Wolf Point wrapped up with a tournament Oct. 10. Organizer Marianne E. Zilkoski Rees said 110 kids participated this season, with 35 kids in the Pre-K/K category, 35 from the first and second grades and 40 from the grades three-five.

The season started Sept. 7 and featured games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It was hosted by the City of Wolf Point.

The Wolf Point Community Organization paid for enrolled kids. The fee was $20 otherwise. Dan Horsmon is recreation director for the city. He hired Rees to run the soccer program.

“My favorite part is seeing the kids compete and have fun,” Rees said. “They are learning life skills and skills for future participation in other sports, team work, accountability, hard work, coachability, sportsmanship
