Summers Finishes First In Havre
Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers ran to first-place honors at the Havre Invitational held on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Summers, a sophomore, ran the course in 17:17.93 for top honors. Havre’s sophomore Caleb Tomac placed second at 17:22.63.
Wolf Point’s Kholby Spotted Wolf finished third in 17:29.46.
Ethan Blount of Wolf Point took seventh place at 18:17.45.
Wolf Point’s freshman Rebel Mays finished 27th at 21:16.39.
Top teams at the meet were Glasgow, Havre and Browning.
In the girls’ division, Wolf Point’s Piper Ruffing placed 20th at 24:40.56.
Juellz Bauer took 32nd at 26:01.67.
Lindsey Paulson of Belt/ Centerville finished first at 19:16.28. Plentywood’s Annie Kaul took second at 20:07.58, and Glasgow’s Iris McKean took third at 20:11.95.
Lewistown’s girls won the team title followed by Havre and Glasgow.
