Poplar Drops Game To Lodge Grass
After a strong start, Poplar lost by a 64-18 final in away football action at Lodge Grass on Friday, Sept. 10.
The Indians jumped out to a 12-0 lead with freshman Kaniel Ricker scoring on two receptions.
Poplar then suffered injuries to key players and fell behind by a 34-18 half-time margin.
“We had a lot of young guys step up and play for us,” Poplar Coach Joe Hammar said. “It’s nice to see they making a commitment to the program.”
The Indians will host Mon-Dak for homecoming on Friday, Sept. 17.
