Peyton Summers and Karolyna Buck were among the winners during the Human Stampede run held in Wolf Point on Saturday, July 10.

Runners and walkers gathered at Sherman Park in downtown Wolf Point Saturday morning for registration with the 5K starting at 8 a.m. and the mile walk/run started at 8:30 a.m.

Summers of Wolf Point finished first in the 5K race with a time of 18:46.6. Kaholo Toves of Wolf Point placed second at 21:33.0.

Also in the top five were Grant Schillinger of Vida at 21:54.5, Cole Baker of Wolf Point at 22:55.3 and Jerry Worley of Boulder at 23:48.1.

Buck took first in the female division with a winning time of 23:31.3. She runs for Montana Tech University.

Raelynn Beley of Circle placed second at 23:43.2. Poplar’s Clarice Smoker took third at 24:40.2. Deborah Lampignano was fourth at 29:48.7 and Vicki Beley was fifth at 30:29.6.

Toves and Summers tied for first in the mile at 7:19.6 Beverly Azure finished first in the women’s division at 12:51.3.

Top finishers for the 5K walk were Leroy Beauchamp of Wolf Point and Olivia Allmer of Wolf Point. Top finishers for the mile walk were Allmer and Luke Pedersen.

The Human Stampede in sponsored annually by Fort Peck Community College.
