The Poplar Indians put together a strong effort during track action in Sidney on Saturday, April 24. Poplar’s boys accounted for 11 points while Poplar’s girls tallied seven points.

Tyler Pribbernow led the Indians by placing second in the javelin with a best of 141-0.

Kameron Reum, a freshman, finished fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 46.55 and sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at 18.68.

Inyan Growing Thunder put together a good meet by taking seventh in the triple jump. Jase Frederick was eighth in the 300-meter hurdles.

On the girls’ side, Jazmin Gorder enjoyed an outstanding meet by finishing third in the 1600 at 5:44.99 and sixth in the 800 at 2:34.03.

Keandra Martell took eighth in the 300-meter hurdles and eighth in the discus. Teagan Escarcega earned 10th in the discus.

The Indians will compete in Great Falls on Saturday, April 24.
