Poplar Players Win During Matches

Poplar’s tennis players competed well against strong opponents during the Choteau Invitational on Friday, April 16, and Saturday, April 17.

“Everybody played well,” Poplar Coach Aaron Snyder said. “There were good teams there.”

The Indians lost by a 3-2 margin against Fairfield.

Winning doubles’ matches for Poplar were Macey Dionne and Siera LeMay and Dusti Marottek and Cayana Adams.

Poplar defeated Harlem by a 4-1 margin. Winning singles’ matches for Poplar were James Redboy and Kahomani Charboneau. Earning victories in doubles’ matches were Dionne/Sydney Cummins and Marottek/Adams.

Poplar fell by a 5-2 margin against Conrad.

Scoring victories for the Indians were Marottek in singles and Marottek and Adams in doubles.

The Indians will compete in Havre on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24.
