Lady Wolves Place At Baker Invitational
An outstanding performance by Jewel Olson highlighted the day for Wolf Point’s girls at the Baker Invitational track meet on Saturday, April 17.
Olson, a senior, finished first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.33 seconds. Olson ran the 200-meter dash in 28.21 seconds for second place.
Wolf Point’s 400-meter relay team featuring Katelyn MacDonald, Kylie Rodenberg, Josie Kolstad and Olson finished fourth with a time of 56.05 seconds.
MacDonald, a sophomore, placed third in the javelin with a best of 103-8. She took eighth in the shot put.
Other highlights for the Wolves included Rodenberg taking 10th in the long jump and Joli Beston finishing ninth in the 800. Wolf Point tied for ninth place with 28 points. The top three teams were Baker, Colstrip and Glasgow. The Wolves will compete at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday, April 24.
