Wolves Receive Conference Honors
Wolf Point’s senior Antone Manning and junior J’Elle Garfield each were selected All-Conference for their basketball play this season.
Wolf Point’s Zander Ackerman, a senior, was voted to the All-Conference second team for boys’ basketball.
Manning was one of six boys selected to the All-Conference first team. Also voted to the squad were Harlem’s junior Tyler Cichosz, Malta’s senior Kooper Oxarart, Harlem’s junior RJ Ramone, Glasgow’s senior Keigan Skolrud and Malta’s junior Rex Williamson.
All-State selections were Oxarart, Ramone and Skolrud.
The second team consisted of Ackerman, Poplar’s senior Wilfred Lambert, Glasgow’s senior Trevor Klind, Harlem’s junior Daniel Lawrence, Malta’s senior Pierce Mortenson and Malta’s junior Connor Tuss.
Garfield was one of six girls picked for the District 2B All-Conference squad. Also selected were Malta’s sophomore Allison Kunze, Malta’s junior Justine Lamb, Glasgow’s junior Abrianna Nielsen, Harlem’s junior Taya Trottier and Malta’s sophomore Maddie Williamson.
Kunze, Trottier and Williamson were each All-State selections.
Players voted to the second team included Poplar’s senior Macey Dionne, Poplar’s senior Keandra Martell, Malta’s sophomore Addy Anderson, Glasgow’s sophomore Daley Aune, Harlem’s senior Alaynee Hawley and Malta’s senior Erica Smith.
