Gerald “Jerry” C. Hagadone, 88, died Oct. 10, 2020, at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions in Casper, Wyo. He was born on Sept. 20, 1932, to Thorwald and Helen Hagadone in Culbertson. LuJuanna Rae Fire Cloud, 64, died at her home in Brockton on Oct. 11, 2020. She was born in Sisseton, S.D., to Paul Fire Cloud and Veronica LeBlanc on May 22, 1956. Indians Run At State Meet


The Poplar Indians placed 16th in the boys standings at the Class B state cross country meet held in Kalispell on Friday, Oct. 23. Lincoln County won the state title with 63 points. Manhattan placed second with 85, Three Forks took third with 154 and Wolf Point placed fourth with 181 points. Poplar’s boys ended with 444 points. Two freshmen led Poplar’s boys at the state competition.
