bituaries Thomas Alfred Scott Jr., 58, of Fort Kipp died Aug. 10, 2020. He was born May 2, 1962, in Poplar to Thomas Alfred Scott Sr. and Sybil Jones. He was raised by his grandparents, Arthur and Martha Scott in Fort Kipp. He attended school in Brockton, where he developed a passion for sports, especially basketball. His trades began at a very young age, working on the family farm.

Over 500 acres burned Friday, Aug. 21, east of Oswego along U.S. Highway 2. Firefighters from the Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department, BIA Fire, Valley County Long Run and McCone County Fire Department fought the blaze. No structures were lost in the fire.
