Emily Martin


Emily Marie Martin, 36, died Oct. 5, 2020, in Poplar. She was born Nov. 15, 1983, to Bernice Martin and Robert Foote Jr. She attended school in Poplar and went to Minot Job Corps. She worked for the Poplar City Daycare. She loved to dance, was active in sports and a good drawer. Emily always had a smile that would light up the room. Her sense of humor was out of this world. She is survived by her children, Mary Martin, Amalayah Lynncia Martin and Arthur Martin; sisters, Roxanne Eagleman and Lydia Chaser; brothers, Robert Eder, Richard Eagleman and Kurtis Chaser; grandfathers, Stevie Gray Hawk, Bud Philbrick and Arlie Diserly; and grandmothers, Ethlene White Hawk, Etta Starr, Angeline Iron Road from Cannonball, N.D., and Maggie Fast Horse of Billings. She was preceded in death by sister, Suzette Eagleman; brother, Narvin Kurtiss Chaser; and step-father, Narvin Chaser Sr. The funeral was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment followed at the Riverside Catholic Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
