The Wolf Point High School football program has announced its team awards for the past season.

Austin Wilson was selected as most valuable player. Parker Swenson was named most improved. Gaige Bushman won the “next up” award.

Wolf Point finished the season with an overall record of 0-5 and a conference mark of 0-3.

Wilson gained 532 rushing yards and scored five rushing touchdowns. He passed for 32 yards. He caught seven passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.

Corey Martell passed for 56 yards and Gaige Bushman threw for 32 yards.

Toavs rushed for 96 yards for the season and caught four passes for 28 yards.

Wilson returned 16 kickoffs for 235 yards. Martell had 99 yards on nine returns.

Total yardage leaders were Wilson with 864, Martell with 158 and Toavs with 124. Wilson scored 36 points for the season. Adding six points were Martell and Vaun Jensen. Parker Swenson scored five points.

Defensively, Wilson accounted for 86 tackles, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four tackles for loss.

Ian Flynn finished with 25 total tackles. Hunter Raining Bird had 25 tackles, one tackle for loss and three quarterback pressures. Charlie Page accounted for 24 tackles and one fumble recovery.

Toavs had 20 tackles and one sack. Martell had 18 tackles and four passes defended. Jensen accounted for 17 tackles and an interception.

Other tackle leaders included Kraven Silk with 10, Swenson with 10, Robert Bearhill with seven and John Hotomanie with seven. Chaske Bearsghost had an interception.
