SEALED BIDS SOUGHGT TSHIP Modular Office Building Construction Notice is hereby given that separate sealed bids will be received for the construction of TSHIP Modular Office Building located in Poplar, Montana and received at TSHIP Building, Attn: Raejean Belgarde, 708 2nd Ave West Poplar, MT 59255 until 10:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME, on September 15 2020. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the same location at 11:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME, on September 15, 2020. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receiving of the bids.

The work generally consists of: 1. Site improvements for the ADA access, parking lot, and site grading of a recently placed modular office building.

Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bid, based on the Owner’s best interests.

Contract Time: 1. Construction of work shall be substantially complete and ready for OWNER use and pre-final inspection within thirty (30) days from Notice to Proceed and ready for final payment within fifteen (15) calendar days of Substantial Completion.

2. The CONTRACTOR shall pay the OWNER $1000.00 for each day that expires after the time specified for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete.

Bidders on this work will be subject to Montana prevailing wage and fringe rates as well as all local Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) regulations.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidders shall furnish an approved performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The bid bond and a copy of the CONTRACTOR’s license or certificate of renewal, shall be included with the bid. All bids must be sealed.

The OWNER retains the right to reject any or all of the bids submitted and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold all bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening, and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the OWNER, and to reject the bid of any party who has been delinquent or unfaithful in the performance of any former contract with the OWNER.
