Commissioners Discuss Coronavirus Act Administrative Leave

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular meeting Tuesday, June 30.

The commissioners discussed the administrative leave provisions of the Family First Coronavirus Response Act. Following the discussion, a motion was passed to prepare a memo for county department heads to instruct them to use discretion when approving COVID-19 related leave requests.

Bids were opened for repairs to the sidewalks around the courthouse in the amount of $10,440 and $13,500 respectively. A motion to accept the lower bid from Hurley’s Oilfield Service in Fairview was tabled.

Minutes were accepted for the commissioners’ special administrative meeting on June 15, the regular public meeting on June 16 and a June 22 special administrative meeting.
