Frontier Days Plans Parade, Rodeo Canceled

Roosevelt Medical Center in Culbertson is hosting a Frontier Days drive/ride through rodeo parade Friday, June 12, beginning at 3 p.m.

According to June 5 social media post, the organization is encouraging attendees to drive through the parking lot and wave to the residents. Horses and wagons are welcome. Parade participants may line up at the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds at the appointed hour and proceed to RMC.

RMC’s activity department will be incorporating a weeklong rodeo theme in observance of the annual Frontier Days weekend.

The Frontier Days Rodeo at the Culbertson Saddle Club has been canceled due to concerns about COVID-19. Rodeo organizers cited financial concerns at area businesses as one of the reasons for deciding not to hold the beloved local event.
