Area School Closures, Special Information

Governor Steve Bullock announced a set of directives and guidance to slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and protect vulnerable Montanans Sunday, including closing of public K-12 schools, social distancing measures and limiting visitation at nursing home facilities. Bullock has directed Montana’s public K-12 schools to close starting on Monday, March 16, and remain closed through March 27. See below for information about area schools.

Bainville Public School:

Administrators hope to have options in place for remote instruction by the beginning of next week. 406-769-2321.

Culbertson School: Administrators request that students remember to check their Gmail accounts for information from teachers and staff. 406-787-6241.

Froid School: Bus route students will have their work delivered by the bus driver. They will be leaving the school at 2:00 p.m. Students that live in town will have their homework delivered to their house by staff. Teachers will be available to help students. Additional information will be provided with their work on contacting their teachers for help. If your child needs a lunch, we will provide a grab-and-go lunch at the school starting Wednesday. Please email the front office at fps14@gmail.com by 1:00 Tuesday if your child needs a meal. Meals will be charged the same as if school were in session.
