Commissioners Approve Pay Raises, Library Hire

The Roosevelt County commissioners held their regular public meeting Tuesday, Jan. 21. Commissioners Gordon Oelkers, Duane Nygaard and Gary Macdonald were in attendance.

Minutes were approved for the Jan. 7 public meeting, as were investments and pledged securities for Dec. 31.

Claims for Jan. 9 were approved in the amount of $226,155.77.

The commissioners approved Patricia Silva Pronto for hire at the Roosevelt County Library Main. She will start at grade three, level one.

Dispatch employee Leann Marottek was approved for an annual pay raise. Library department employee Sheila Dunn was approved for a six-month pay raise. Aging department employee Julie Bach was also approved for a raise.
