Trustees Approve Budgets For School Year
The Wolf Point School Board approved both the elementary and high school budgets for the year during its meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
The elementary budget is $5,775,893.63. That figure is a little higher than last year’s amount of $5,359,846.35. The budget includes a general fund increase from $3,569,508.52 to $3,821,795.73.

County Fair Manager Resigns Position
Angela Miller has resigned as the Roosevelt County Fair manager. Officials said that she submitted her resignation on Friday, Aug. 8, the last day of the fair, and finished working until the end of that day’s activities.
The Roosevelt County Commissioners officially accepted the resignation during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
