A white Freightliner semi carrying 700 hives of honey bees rolled over near milemarker 2.3 on Montana Highway 13 north of Circle Sunday, May 12, at approximately 5:40 p.m. The road was closed for about an hour due to the bees, reported Montana Highway Patrol Sergeant Nyle Obergfell. The driver was transported to the McCone County Health Center in Circle with minor injuries where he was treated and released. He was issued a citation for careless driving, said Obergfell. Honeyland beekeepers assisted with the cleanup.
