Froid Students Place At State BPA Event
The Froid BPA members competed at the State Leadership Conference in Billings earlier this month.
A total of 19 students from the chapter participated in competitive and non-competitive events. A total of 10 students placed in the top 10 in each event. Brooklyn Nordwick placed 10th and Mara Salvevold placed seventh in advanced office systems and procedures, Lilly Johnson placed sixth in basic office systems and procedures. Also placing sixth was Sol Grainger in integrated office applications and Salvevold in interview skills.
Kaylee Olson placed fifth in ethics and professionalism, and Nate Stentoft placed fourth in advanced spreadsheet applications. Coming in third place was Macie Elvsaas in basic office systems and procedures and Leah Murray in fundamental word processing.
Cian Logan earned first in advanced spreadsheet applications. He received the highest score in the state merit test.
Eight students qualified and are going to the National Leadership Conference in Chicago on May 10-14.
