Fire Prevention Week

Members of the Froid Volunteer Fire Department (from left) Robert Kjelshus, Hunter Krogedal, Austin O’Dea, Shane Clark, Dylan Ryder, Cam Friede and Jon Const visited the school for Fire Prevention Week last week. Fire Prevention Week was observed on Oct. 8-14. This year’s national campaign stressed “Cooking safety starts with You. Pay attention to fire prevention.” Cooking fires are the leading cause of Home fires and home fire injuries. Unattended cooking is the leading cause of cooking fires and deaths.
