Culbertson and Froid/Lake are each celebrating homecoming with activities this week.

Highlights in Culbertson will include the parade on Broadway Avenue starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.

Homecoming competitions are scheduled in the gym on Friday.

The Cowboys will take on Plentywood in football action beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Culbertson’s volleyball squad hosts Nashua on Thursday, Sept. 21, and Fairview on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The Culbertson Little League program will hold a volleyball tailgate party starting at noon in the high school gym on Saturday and a football tailgate party starting at 4:30 p.m. Burgers, hot dogs and chili will be available.

Dress-up days include Good vs. Villain on Wednesday, Dress as your movie day on Thursday and “Once Upon a Time in Culbertson” day on Friday.

King and queen candidates include Mathew Wadsworth, Destiny Thompson, Nyreece Halvorson, Summer Lyon, Carson Solem and Kylie Bergum.

Prince and princesses are Mark Kirkaldie and Macy Lambert for the junior class, Leland Pirkle and Mariana Burciaga for the sophomore class and Ayden Drake and Payton Labatte for the freshman class.

A homecoming parade is scheduled in Froid at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.

The Red Hawks will face Richey/ Lambert in football at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.

The volleyball team travels to Lustre Christian on Thursday, Sept. 21.

Dress-up days in Froid include “Anything But a Backpack,” on Wednesday, “Dress Like a Parent” on Thursday and Red Hawk Day on Friday.
