Crews Continue With Asphalt Paving

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Knife River will continue asphalt paving along US Highway 2. Crews will be working throughout the project area to accommodate the curing time of the asphalt. Paving is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week, weather and other factors permitting.

Crews will also work on grading for sidewalks, as well as installing curb and gutter.

Work will take place Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane and controlled by flaggers or traffic signals. Drivers should expect delays, and to be guided through the work zone by pilot cars.

A 12-foot width restriction is in place throughout the project area. Loads over 12 feet will need to find alternate routes.
