The Bainville Bulldogs enjoyed a solid showing with 54 points in the boys’ division and 38.33 points in the girls’ division at the District 2C track meet.

Reese Harmon highlighted Bainville’s efforts by taking first in the 800-meter run with a personal best time of 2:14.18.

Charles Butikofer cleared 5-10 in the high jump for second place. He took third in the javelin at 142-2 and eighth in the long jump at 18-0.

Ayden Knudsen took second in the 800 at 2:15.57, Kaiden Holmes was third at 2:16.37 and Rowan Wilson finished eighth at 2:24.66.

Samuel Butikofer cleared 5-8 for third place in the high jump.

Bainville’s boys’ 1600-meter relay team featuring Carter Winn, Holmes, Knudsen and Harmon finished third at 3:51.94.

Winn placed fourth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 46.86 seconds.

Drae Nelson finished eighth in the 1600 at 5:49.56 and eighth in the 3200 at 13:55.92.

In the girls’ division, Hailey Berwick ran the 400 in 1:01.75 for second place. The freshman placed fourth in the 200 at 27.82 and took seventh in the long jump at 14-7.

Elsie Wilson placed fourth in the high jump by clearing 4-6, third in the 300-meter hurdles at 51.76 seconds, fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at 17.65 seconds, seventh in the 200 at 28.19 and eighth in the 100 at 13.65 seconds.

Earning sixth were Cora-May Theige with a time of 18:05.05 in the 3200 and Siena Martinez with a time of 20.59 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles. Martinez took seventh in the 300-meter hurdles at 1:00.65.

In the shot put, Miah Pippenger earned fourth at 30-5 and Brecklyn Pippenger took sixth at 29-9.

B. Pippenger placed fourth in the javelin with a mark of 100-6. Addison Hansen took fifth in the discus at 88-9 and Lila Butikofer placed sixth in the discus at 85-10.
