Bulls Drop Home Baseball Contests
The Froid Bulls dropped both games against a strong Billings UpperDeck Expos’ team during baseball action in Froid on Sunday, May 7.
Froid came up short in the first contest by a 5-4 margin.
The Bulls jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the bottom of the first inning as Khye Gamas, Cooper King and Connor Hudyma crossed the plate. Gaige Bushman connected for a double to highlight the frame.
After the Expos struck for three runs in the top of the second, Henry Kukowski doubled and scored in the second for a 4-3 lead.
The Expos gained the lead with two runs in the fourth inning.
Kukowski pitched most of the game for the Bulls.
In the second game, the Expos won by a 16-5 final. Billings scored five runs in the third and four runs in the sixth inning.
Hudyma tallied two runs for the Bulls. Also scoring were Jaydoen Hanshaw, Ty Leischner and Payton Perkins.
The Bulls will host the Miles City Outlaws for games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.
