Students Take Part In Clean Sweep

Wolf Point students took a hands-on approach to beautifying their community on Thursday, May 5.
Starting at 2 p.m., the students hit the street to pick up litter and other garbage around the city.
Areas covered included Custer Street, Dawson Street, Edgar Street, Fairweather Street, the school’s grounds, BIA 168, Main Street, Benton Street and the Agland West/ car wash areas.
“It’s great to help out and make sure it’s clean,” Kylie Rodenberg said. “Especially with the weather getting nice.”
Kaylee Johnson added, “It’s to help our community.”
The school provided trash bags and gloves for the activity. Students enjoyed snacks when they returned to the school at about 3:30 p.m.
