Wolf Point Food Pantry Sets Hours
Operating hours have been set for the food bank in Wolf Point to assist those struggling with food insecurity in the community.
The Wolf Point Food Pantry will reopen on Tuesday, April 12. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pantry will be open on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
Each patron will be required to fill out an intake form to receive food. This has to be done once a year. The form requires the names and ages of each person in the household. Also required is an ID for the primary person.
Food boxes will be prepared based on the number of people in the household. All food and money received is donated. The major sponsor of the food pantry is the Fort Peck Tribes.
The Wolf Point Food Pantry gets a truck every six weeks and needs volunteers to help unload the truck. The first truck will arrive on May 4, at about 4:40 p.m. There will be limited distribution in April because the first truck arrives in May.
Volunteers are needed to help fill food boxes on Tuesday morning starting April 12.
Donations of food or money are always welcome. The address is 502 Main St., P.O. Box 255, Wolf Point, MT 59201.
