Diabetes Lifestyle Coach Training Deadline March 8
Scholarship Opportunity For Healthcare Workers
The Centers for Disease Control Diabetes Prevention Program is taking shape on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and individuals with professional/educational healthcare certifications are eligible to receive training and stipulated funding. Applicants must be willing to serve as a lifestyle coach for a program cohort at Fort Peck Community College beginning in fall 2022. Stipends and scholarships are available for qualified applicants. Classroom materials will be provided.
The program requires a weekly commitment of twofour hours.
The training is set for March 24-25 in Helena. Virtual attendance is welcome. Deadline for applicants is March 8. Applicants will be notified of their status by March 11.
