Adams Likes Education In Wolf Point

Wolf Point High School senior Tracel Adams is pleased to be a student at the school.
“I’m getting treated well here,” said Adams, who moved from Harlem during his sophomore year.
Adams, who says he tries to focus on his grades rather than activities, notes that his favorite class is art.
“It helps me become creative,” Adams said. “I like to express myself.”
Among his projects have been paintings that he gave to his nephew.
“He lives scary stuff, so I made a nun from a scary movie,” Adams said.
As far as pottery, he created a turtle out of clay after his pet turtle passed away.
Another class he likes is personal finance.
“That helps with your future,” Adams said. “It prevents you from being in debt.”
He enjoys the variety of teachers at Wolf Point High School.
“There’s a list of them,” Adams said when asked about his favorite teachers. “I like all of them. I respect all teachers.”
After high school, he plans to take Native studies at Fort Peck Community College. He also wants to study medical history in order to become a physical therapist.
He said he’s happy about his current life and wants to help out others by doing community service such as picking up litter and repainting depressing looking areas.
