Luke Follet


Luke Aaron Follet Sr. (Wamni Gawjga), “Circling Eagle”, 44, died Aug. 4, 2021, at St. Alexius Hospital, in Bismarck, N.D. He was born Oct. 5, 1976, to Harry “Digger” Follet Jr. and Dorothy BegsHisOwn Follet in Wolf Point. He grew up in Frazer and attended school in Frazer where he participated in track, basketball, soccer and football. During summertime, he played baseball.
He was a hard worker and worked at numerous jobs. He worked at Prairie Knights Casino for numerous years, in the deli at Albertsons, at Trinity Hospital for two years and for Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel as a groundskeeper.
He is survived by his children, Lashae, Luke Jr., Annie, Abby, Ethan, LaQuincy, Lamont, Latisha, Patrick, Jasmine Follet, Gage and Boyd Miner; siblings, Harriet, Kerby, Blossom and Orlando Follet; and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chris; siblings, Valerie, Cynthia and Patrick Follet; and special friends, Latoya Lambert, Jade Miner and Heather Jones.
His funeral was held Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point. Interment followed at Oswego Presbyterian Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
