Curtis Milne

Curtis John “Curt” Milne, 93, died Oct. 19, 2026.

He was born in Richey to John and Ella Milne on Aug. 6, 1933. He graduated from Dawson County High School in Glendive with the class of 1952. He attended the University of Montana and played football with the Grizzlies, graduating in 1956 with a degree in business administration.

In 1954, he and Iris England married. Five children were born to this marriage.

He worked for over 60 years at Milne Implement Company, a John Deere agency, beginning with his father, and the last decades with his sons, until they sold the business in 2017. He served on the Glendive Chamber of Commerce board, the Glendive Hospital board and the first Glendive Hospital Foundation board. He was a life member of the Elks and Moose organizations. He was a member of the Glendive United Methodist Church and served on church boards.
